封护（sealing）是在铜器着色或做旧完成后，涂覆蜡、漆或缓蚀剂形成隔离层，隔绝水氧以延缓变色与腐蚀。它是着色工艺的最后一道，决定作品寿命。

Sealing applies wax, lacquer or inhibitor over a finished patina to block moisture and oxygen, slowing tarnish and corrosion. It is the final step of coloring and decides the work's lifespan. ---
