Three steps to a greener stamping shop: (1) swap chlorinated EP oil for low-volatility synthetic oil (flash point >70 °C, half the VOC) — copper parts skip solvent degreasing before patina; (2) go dry — buy pre-waxed strip (1–2 g/m² film) for carbide tooling with DLC-coated working faces (μ ≈ 0.1), tripling edge life; (3) recirculate — centrifuge used oil to 5 μm for 80% reuse. One connector plant cut oil-mist levels 70%, saved ¥40k/year in hazardous-waste fees, with burr levels unchanged on brass blanks.
