0.3–0.5 mm 退火铜箔压印纹理后可冷镶入硬木：先在木面铣出 0.4 mm 深浅槽并注入环氧（如 West System 105），压印铜箔纹理朝上入槽、压重物静置 12 h；铜箔边缘 45° 斜切对接，接缝用掺铜粉的环氧腻子填补后整体抛光。北欧家具工坊常以此做桌面植物纹与星象纹饰板。注意环氧固化放热会使 0.2 mm 以下薄箔起皱，分两次薄涂可避免；木料含水率须低于 10%，否则日后铜面随木缩鼓。
Imprint annealed 0.3–0.5 mm copper foil and cold-inlay it into hardwood: rout a 0.4 mm recess, fill with epoxy (e.g. West System 105), seat the foil texture-up under weights for 12 h; butt-join edges at 45°, fill seams with copper-loaded epoxy putty and polish flush. Nordic furniture workshops use this for botanical and star-chart tabletops. Exotherm wrinkles foils under 0.2 mm—apply epoxy in two thin coats; keep wood below 10% moisture or the copper will telegraph movement.
