A Copenhagen studio develops imprint lines by "city gleaning": twelve master types gathered (manhole rubbings, ship-rope knots, peeling-paint boards), each backed up as an archival silicone mould, positives and negatives numbered and filed; each season four pairs combine into a nine-piece collection. The mould library lets retired textures return to production and keeps licensed fabric patterns out of the catalogue. ---
