手工雕刻学徒的经典考核是"排线砖"：在 60×40 mm 铜版上以推刀刻出平行线阵——第一关 0.15 mm 间距直线 20 根不断线（训练推刀稳定性）；第二关交叉排线 45°/135° 各 15 根交点干净（训练角度控制）；第三关渐变排线模拟灰阶 5 级（训练力度分级，0.05–0.2 mm 深度递变）。版画工坊用此法筛选学徒，达标线为放大镜下无补刀痕迹；Florence 的 Il Bisonte 等老牌工作室至今沿用类似三级制。
The classic engraver's gate exam is the "hatching brick": 20 parallel lines at 0.15 mm pitch without breaks (push-graver stability), then clean 45°/135° crossings (angle control), then a 5-step tone ladder from 0.05–0.2 mm depth (pressure grading). Print shops pass apprentices only when no corrective cuts show under a loupe; Florence's Il Bisonte and similar workshops still run comparable three-stage tests.
