Use a 1064 nm pulsed fiber laser (0.5–1.5 mJ, 20–50 kHz, 500–2000 mm/s) to replace acid pickling—dry and waste-free. Two passes yield a uniformly activated surface: first for scale removal, second at low energy for residue. Control incidence angle to avoid burn discoloration, and immerse within 2 h to prevent re-oxidation. Especially suited to on-site work on architectural copper. ---
