加成型硅胶本身低毒，但催化剂与清洗溶剂（如白电油、丙酮）易燃且刺激呼吸道，须在通风橱操作并佩戴防毒面具与丁腈手套。废弃硅胶按化学废物收集，不可倒入下水道。原样若含铅锡焊料，打磨时须防铅尘吸入。
Addition silicone is low-toxic, but catalysts and cleaners (white spirit, acetone) are flammable and irritate airways—work in a fume hood with a respirator and nitrile gloves. Collect waste as chemical refuse, never pour down drains. If the original has lead-tin solder, avoid inhaling lead dust when sanding. ---
