坯料体积按成品体积×1.0（几乎无飞边）并加 2%–3% 修磨余量。圆形坯用落料或剪切制得，直径公差 ±0.05 mm。铜坯退火 500–600 ℃、银坯 500–600 ℃ 软化后压印最清晰；坯面油污用酒精或碱洗脱脂，否则图文出现麻点。

Blank volume equals finished volume ×1.0 (almost no flash) plus 2%–3% for dressing. Cut round blanks by blanking or shearing to ±0.05 mm. Anneal copper at 500–600 ℃ and silver at 500–600 ℃; soft stock strikes sharpest. Degrease the blank face with alcohol or alkali wash—oil causes pitting in the relief. ---
