分型面应选在铸件最大轮廓处并避开主要受力面，以减少飞边与后处理量。浇注系统由浇口杯、直浇道、横浇道、内浇道组成，内浇道应开在铸件厚壁或最低处以利补缩。冒口容积一般取铸件热节体积的 1.5–3 倍，确保凝固时持续补缩。

A gating system comprises pouring cup, sprue, runner and gate; place the gate at the thickest or lowest section for feeding.
