Annual inspection covers gloss, chalking (tape test), spot cross-hatch adhesion, and rust staining at water traps. Refinish fading in four steps: low-pressure wash (<10 MPa at 30 cm, so the color layer survives); spot-repair color to the original recipe, feathered into the old zones; locally abrade only where adhesion has dropped — never strip to bare metal overall; and one full topcoat. Sticking to the archived reagent recipe holds repaint ΔE under 3.
