A semester-long conservation course (48 h) runs four modules: theory (inhibition and film formation, ISO 9223 classes); comparative trials — QSn7 coupons sealed with BTA, microcrystalline wax, BTA+wax and fluorocarbon, then 240 h salt spray per GB/T 10125; hands-on practice clearing old seals, inhibiting, sealing and documenting; and writing the treatment file with coupon photos and mass-loss data. Assessment splits between file completeness and coupon grading—mirroring the industry's traceability demands.
